The Psocidae are a family of dust lice (Psocoptera) in the subordination Psocomorpha . The members of this family are recognized by their wing veins . The family is related to the Myopsocidae and is widespread, including New Zealand .

The best known genera of the family are Psococerastis , Psocus , Blaste , Amphigerontia , Trichadenotecnum , Ptycta and Loensia .
