Psychiatric weekly

The Psychiatrische Wochenschrift was a weekly journal that appeared from May 1, 1899 . It should enable “up-to-date communication” for “mad doctors” ( psychiatrists ). One of the magazine's tasks was to ward off attacks on the insane asylums. The magazine gives a good overview of psychiatry in Germany before the First World War .

From the 4th volume the journal appeared under the name Psychiatrisch-Neurologische Wochenschrift.

The sheet appeared until around 1945.
