Public Illumination Magazine

Public Illumination Magazine (PIM) is an art magazine measuring 11 cm × 7 cm. It has been published since 1979. It was founded by Zagreus Bowery. He designed the PIM concept within a circle of artists in New York City. The texts and drawings range from parody to absurdities. The contributions are published exclusively under pseudonyms. 51 issues had appeared by 2007. The magazine appears intermittently and is available in the US, Italy and Germany. Keith Haring drew a series of works for issue no.13 in 1981.
