The Puentes Trillizos ( triple bridges ) in the Bolivian city of La Paz are an ensemble of three bridges that were opened in November 2010. The names "Libertad", "Unión" and "Independencia" were chosen for the bridges, which means "freedom", "unity" and "independence". The three bridges connect the east and west of La Paz, which are separated by several deep valleys. The “Cuarto Centenario” district in particular benefits from the construction, as it has significantly reduced travel times in almost all directions.

The easternmost bridge, Puente Independencia , leads from Villa Armonía to Avenida Los Leones, it has a length of 218.50 m. The Puente Unión runs over the Río Chokeyapu from Avenida Los Leones to Plaza Confucio and is 191.50 m long. Puente Libertad , the third and most westerly bridge, leads from Plaza Confucio to the Sopocachi district and, at 233.50 m, is the longest of the three bridges. The bridges are painted in the Bolivian national colors, the Puente Independencia is red, the Puente Unión is yellow and the Puente Libertad is green.

The cost of construction was 19.5 million US dollars, the money was borrowed from the Latin American Development Bank.

The highest pillar is 45 m high and it reaches a maximum height of 60 m above the Chokeyapu River.
