Pukou ( 浦口 區 / 浦口 区 , Pǔkǒu Qū ) is a Chinese municipality in Jiangsu Province . It belongs to the administrative area of Nanjing . Its area is 913.08 km² and it has a population of around 490,000 (2004). The seat of government is the street district Jiangpu ( 江浦 街道 ).
