The pump house Untere Herbringhauser Talsperre , postal address Theodor-Schröder-Weg 10 , is a listed pumping station in the Wuppertal residential district of Beyenburg-Mitte in the Langerfeld-Beyenburg district .
The pump house was built in the 1920s and 30s below the dam of the Lower Herbringhauser Dam and served to pump the pent-up drinking water from the Lower into the Upper Herbringhauser Dam when required .
Even before the conveyance of the Lower Herbringhausen Dam and demolition of the dam in 2006, the pump house was with its technical facilities on 22 November 2004 as a monument under protection.
