The Pumprisse route is an approximately 300 meter long crack climbing route on the Fleischbank south-east pillar in the Wilder Kaiser ( Tyrol , Austria ).

On June 2, 1977, Reinhard Karl (1946–1982) and Helmut Kiene (* 1952) succeeded in their first ascent of the Pumprisse, the first route in the Alps in the official VII degree (according to the UIAA scale ). Access to the actual cracks is via a traverse from the Rebitsch route and requires free climbing in UIAA grade VIII +. This part was first freely climbed in 1987 by Bernd Arnold . There is also a direct entry via the Brandler approach .

Christel Howald was the first woman to climb the route in 1978.
