Punica is a 1977 developed brand for fruit drinks , which is currently (as of 2016) of PepsiCo is performed. There are the varieties Classics , SoFresh , Tea & Fruit , Fruity & Sparkling , as well as various adventure drinks .

Punica drinks are filled in glass and PET bottles as well as in beverage cartons.

History of the brand

Punica came onto the market in 1977 as a brand of Dittmeyer GmbH by Rolf H. Dittmeyer . In 1994 the range was expanded to include “Tea & Fruit”, fruit juice drinks with tea , and in 2004 to “Fruity & Sparkling”, spritzers with 60% fruit juice. Dittmeyer GmbH was taken over by Procter & Gamble in 1984 . In 2004 Punica was sold to the American investor JW Childs . He then sold Punica to PepsiCo in 2005 .
