Punta Alta

Punta Alta is a city in Argentina , about 20 kilometers southeast of Bahía Blanca . The place in the province of Buenos Aires had 57,296 inhabitants on an area of ​​1,320 km² in 2001, which corresponds to 46.41 inhabitants per km². Punta Alta was founded on July 2nd, 1898 and is the capital ("cabecera") of the Partido Coronel Rosales . The mayor of Punta Alta is Ing.Néstor Hugo Starc, IVR.
