Punta Anchorena is a headland on the Oscar II coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located on a southern branch of the Jason Peninsula , which protrudes into the Stratton Inlet .
Argentine scientists named it in 1975. It is named after the Argentine aviation pioneer Félix de Anchorena (1877–1965), who made the first airship voyages in Argentina on December 25, 1907 with the Pampero .
