Pusha

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Puschas are the result of experimental crossbreeding of Pu del males (male) and Gold scha kal fähen (female), i.e. canids of different species .

Crossbreeds of poodles and golden jackals were carried out and examined from the 1960s under the direction of Wolf Herre at the Institute for Pet Science at the University of Kiel. The mating was only possible if the animals were raised alone, otherwise they avoided each other. The pushas bred in this way were only of limited fertility .

Mating male jackals with female poodles ( Schapu ) was also carried out later. They are more difficult to reach because the male jackals do not know what to do with the bitch's heat at first , whereas male poodles are always ready to cover.
