The pusher configuration (from English pusher configuration , "thrust arrangement, pressure arrangement") designates a drive design in which the propellers are to be found behind the engine. This can be the case with all means of transport that are operated with propellers ( aircraft , hovercraft , airships , rail zeppelin, etc.). Vehicles equipped with a pusher configuration are also referred to as pushers . If the propeller is attached in such a way that it "pushes", it is referred to as a pusher propeller .
