Put Your Records On (dt .: Put your favorite records on ) is a song by British singer Corinne Bailey Rae from their debut album Corinne Bailey Rae from the year 2006. The soul / pop song was the second single from the album and was the world's four million Times sold.

History & production

Together with the producers Steve Chrisanthou and John Beck, who were also involved in the production, Corinne Bailey Rae wrote the song in 2005, which was released on February 20, 2006 as the second single from her debut album Corinne Bailey Rae . Recorded in several studios in London including John Ellis' Place, Olympic Studios , Taxlight and The Idle Studio.

In addition to Corinne Bailey Rae, who recorded the vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion, the song was performed by Steve Chrisanthou (electric guitar, Spanish guitar, wind instruments & drums), John Beck (keyboards), Joe Tatton (Hammond organ), Jason Rae (Alto saxophone), Jim Corry (tenor saxophone), Malcolm Strachan (trumpet) and Samuel Dixon (bass).

Music video
