Py Sorman
Py Sörman (* 1897 in Halland ; † 1947 ), real name Ingrid Amalia Sörman (Forsberg-Flerke) , was a Swedish writer. She appeared at times under the pseudonym Inge Forss .
The daughter of a pastor wrote a number of novels and short stories and made her debut in 1921 with the novel Han (Swedish: He ). After Sörman converted to Catholicism , she wrote a number of biographies on famous Catholic figures, for example Queen Christina in Vi Christina med Guds nåde (1942). She was a member of the Academicum Catholicum Sveciae ( Swedish Catholic Association ) and since 1946 in the Sveriges Författare Förening ( Swedish Association of Writers ).
Py Sörman's writings are now kept in the Royal Library in Stockholm . The collection contains letters addressed to them, their diaries, calendars, manuscripts and much more.
