Jaime Young-Lae Cho (Hangul: 하이메 조영래; rr: Haime Jo Yeong-lae) (born September 23, 1992 in São Paulo ), better known as Pyong Lee, is a Korean - Brazilian illusionist and hypnologist.

Life

Pyong Lee was born in Sao Paulo in 1992. His father was a South Korean immigrant who met his mother in Brazil. As he describes in a video on his YouTube channel, Pyong Lee saw his mother for the last time at the age of nine when she left the house and never returned after an argument with his father.

Pyong Lee and his two younger brothers Felipe and Thiago lived in precarious conditions and were raised by their grandparents and later by their uncle.

As a teenager, he showed a talent for dance and magic, which earned him presentations on various television programs. After studying law at the Universidade Estadual Paulista , he specialized in hypnosis .

Pyong Lee has a hypnosis channel that has over seven million subscribers. In 2018, Forbes Brasil magazine included him in the list of 90 outstanding personalities under the age of 30. He can be seen on his channel with several famous guests and runs a clinical hypnosis center called the Quasar Institute.

Pyong Lee is married to influencer Sammy Lee. Together they have a son named Jake, who was born in February 2020.

In 2020, Pyong Lee participated in the 20th season of the Brazilian edition of Big Brother .
