Pyramid of Gympie

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pyramid of Gympie is a flat, terraced hill located on the northeastern outskirts of Gympie in the Australian state of Queensland .

The pyramid-like structure is presumably modern: Morwood determined in 1976 that the landscape was a terracing from the 1950s that winegrowers were creating. However, there is also speculation that the pyramid was built long ago by foreign cultures; for example, in 1975 Rex Gilroy claimed that the Phoenicians built it.
