King Qiāng Dīng ( Chinese  羌 丁 ) or Wò Dīng ( Chinese  沃丁 ) (*? BC; † 1691 BC) ruled China for 29 years as the fifth or sixth king of the Shang dynasty . He was the son of King Tai Jia . During his era, the famous minister Yi Yin died . Wo Ding buried him in the capital and named Shàn Suí ( Chinese 单 遂 ) as the successor to Yi Yin. The burial and appointment were recorded in one of the Thirteen Confucian Classics ( Chinese 十三 经 ) - Shàng Shū ( Chinese 尚书 ).
