King Qiě Jiǎ ( Chinese 且 甲 ) (*? BC; † 1226 BC) ruled China as the 25th or 26th king of the Shang dynasty for 33 years (based on the historical work Zhushu Jinian ) . He was the younger brother of King Qie Geng .
The Shiji history reports that he was vicious and limitless. The Shang dynasty is said to have disintegrated again under his rule.
The historical book Zhushu Jinian reports that during his 33-year reign he waged a campaign against the Xi Rong clan . In his earlier years in power he could still take care of the lives of the common people, but in his later years he tightened the complex and rigorous penal laws, which disintegrated the Shang dynasty.
