The Quak Show was a 13 episode French sketch television show produced by Canal + in 1984 . On German television it was first broadcast in 1987 in the third programs NDR Fernsehen , Radio Bremen TV and Sender Free Berlin and was later incorporated into Das Erste . In 1991 the broadcast was repeated by Bavarian television and was last seen on German television. The original title was Le Frog Show .

Some of the skits were quite silly. There were cooking sketches, among other things. The often repeated standard saying was: " Raul , you are stupid!" One of the authors of the sketches was Gérard Surugue.

The show is classified in France as a French edition of the Benny Hill Show . fernsehserien.de rated it as a "French sketch show with plenty of slapstick , nonsense and brute humor, which often did not really ignite in Germany."
