Philippe Ogouz

Philippe Ogouz (born November 20, 1939 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz , Département Pyrénées-Atlantiques , † July 25, 2019 ) was a French actor and voice actor .

Life

Ogouz received his acting training at the Center d'art dramatique in Paris on rue Blanche. From 1958 he played in the theater. René Allio gave him a film role in the short film La Meule in 1961 . Philippe Ogouz became known for television films and series, such as Charles-Auguste in the series La belle et son fantôme (1962) and in the title role in the series Rouletabille (1966). At the end of the 1960s he began to work as a speaker and was the original voice of Tintin in Tintin in the Sun Temple . He later dubbed Martin Sheen , Dustin Hoffman , John Travolta and Patrick Duffy . His best-known film roles include Wiss in Alain Cavalier's heist film The Million Coup of the Twelve (1967), Paul in Sergio Gobbi's The Unknown (1968) and the Acajou in Biribi - Hell under the Hot Sun (1971). From the early 1970s onwards, Philippe Ogouz mainly played leading roles in comedies: Michel Vernier in Aimez-vous les uns les autres ... mais pas trop (1972), one of the three bachelor heroes in Didier Kaminka's Trop c'est trop (1975 ). Well-known later films are Denis Amar's thriller Asphalte (1981) and Gérard Jugnot's comedy Scout toujours ... (1985). Philippe Ogouz played his last film role as Fat in My First Love (2012).

Philippe Ogouz was president of Adami, the society for the distribution rights of actors and musicians, from 2005 to 2013.
