The Swiss Tourism Quality Program is a quality assurance tool for companies in the Swiss tourism market that offers businesses the opportunity to evaluate their services as part of a quality check and to have a seal of approval issued for three years. The aim of the program is to increase quality awareness, industry cooperation and quality optimization in Swiss tourism.

The quality program was launched in Basel at the international trade fair for the hotel, gastronomy and out-of-home consumption (IGEHO) in November 1997.

Various Qs

A distinction can be made between three quality levels, whereby a company can be examined and awarded for the next higher level after the successful introduction of the previous level or can enter directly at the desired level.

1st stage Stage I includes points of primary quality development, internal motivation of the staff for quality maintenance and improvement and is aimed in particular at the service quality .

2. Level Level II is intended to achieve quality assurance . She is particularly dedicated to leadership quality .

3rd stage The III. and the last stage of the quality program leads to a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) with international recognition. Here, too, the long-term goal is the continuous improvement process.
