Queens Arcade
Queens Arcade (Welsh: Arcêd y Frenhines) is a shopping center in Cardiff , Wales . The center opened on April 28, 1994 and is located on Queen Street.
The center was built on the former site of the Allders store. The main entrance is on Queen Street not far from Cardiff Castle. Additional entrances are on Saint John Street and Working Street in the city's central market square.
The center has two levels and several restaurants and shops. The facade is based on the architecture of the late 19th century and has been used for several different film shoots such as B. in 2005 in the Doctor Who episode Rose with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper.
