Queensbury is an above-ground London Underground station in the London Borough of Brent . It is in the Travelcard tariff zone 4 on Cumberland Road. In 2014, 4.20 million passengers used the station served by the Jubilee Line .

The station opened on December 16, 1934, two years after the start of the Stanmore branch of the Metropolitan Railway (predecessor of the Metropolitan Line ), which was electrified from the start . At that time, the name of the station had no relation to an existing geographical object , but was chosen as an analogy to the neighboring Kingsbury station . After the integration of the Metropolitan Railway into the network of the London Underground, it was decided in 1933 to transfer operations in the direction of Stanmore to the Bakerloo Line , which happened on November 20, 1939. The Bakerloo Line in turn was replaced on May 1, 1979 by the newly opened Jubilee Line.
