Source repertory

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Quellenrepertorium is in the science of history a reference book or directory sources . In a source repertory, the name of the source is noted, the place of origin and the period are printed. A special feature of the repertory is that it contains the existing copies, translations and critical editions . Additional literature is also available.

A well-known example of such a work is the source repertory on recent German literary history by Paul Raabe (Metzler, Stuttgart).
