Cross track
The railway connections of the following cities at right angles to the radial railway lines are referred to as cross railway:
- Railway line Brühl-Vochem – Köln-Godorf Hafen between Cologne and Bonn
- Borna – Großbothen railway line in the south of Leipzig
- Railway line Neukieritzsch – Pegau in the southern area of Leipzig
- the planned Limbach – Burgstädt – Mittweida line, instead of which the Wechselburg – Küchwald railway line was built
The following railway lines also have the word Querbahn in their name:
- Eiderstedtquerbahn (Bad St. Peter-Ording – Tönning – Husum)
- Eifelquerbahn (Gerolstein – Andernach)
- Harzquerbahn (Nordhausen – Wernigerode)
- Hunsrückquerbahn (Langenlonsheim – Hermeskeil)
- Vennquerbahn (Jünkerath – Weywertz)
- Westerwaldquerbahn (Herborn – Westerburg – Montabaur)
Querbahn is also the German name of the Stockholm light rail line Tvärbanan .
