Queuña Raymi

Queuña Raymi is a holiday for villagers launched in 2014 by the Peruvian nature conservation organization Asociación Ecosistemas Andinos (ECOAN), on which they reforest the Andes . Tens of thousands of Polylepis trees are planted on the Cordillera Vilcanota every year and are grown by local farmers. 8,000 families are now taking part in the campaigns.
