In 1998 the Heimatbund Eldagsen erected a monument near the church of St. Alexandri in Eldagsen to commemorate the eight "disappeared villages " around the village.

Quickborn was one of several villages in the Eldagsen district that were "depopulated" between the 14th and 16th centuries. The surviving residents settled in the - better protected - city of Eldagsen. Today remember field names to the eight desolate has become villages, but in particular also a 1998 statement drawn up by Heimatbund Eldagsen monument near the church St. Alexandri with an explanatory text panel and a summary sketch of the location of the former villages.
