Quintet in G major op.18 (Dvořák)
The Quintet in G major for two violins, viola, cello and double bass op.18 wrote Antonin Dvorak at the beginning of 1875 (after entry in the score , "completed in March") in Prague . The work was premiered on March 18, 1876 as part of a concert by the Prague artists' association Umělecká beseda by František Ondříček and other members of the Umělecká beseda association in Prague . It was published by Simrock in Berlin in 1888 , with the new opus number 77 being given.
