Quintus Planius Sardus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quintus Planius Sardus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

A military diploma proves that he was 126 commander of the Ala I Ulpia Contariorum , which at that time was stationed in the province of Pannonia superior ; the command of this unit was probably his militia quarta . Presumably he was the son of Quintus Planius Sardus Truttedius Pius .
