Quintus Planius Sardus Truttedius Pius

Quintus Planius Sardus Truttedius Pius (full name form Quintus Planius Sardus Gai filius Pupinia Truttedius Pius ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 1st century AD .

By military diplomas is evidence that he 97-99 n. Chr. Commander Ala Flavia I Gaetulorum was that at this time in the province of inferior Moesia was stationed. Truttedius Pius was inscribed in the tribe of Pupinia .

A Quintus Planius Sardus is recorded for 126 as commander of the Ala I Ulpia Contariorum ; he is probably his son. Other relatives were probably Quintus Planius Felix , known from an inscription found in Minturnae , and the later Senator Quintus Planius Sardus Lucius Varius Ambibulus .
