Quosego

Quosego - Tidskrift för Ny Generation was a Finnish literary magazine that appeared in Swedish from 1928 to 1929 by Helsingforser Verlag Söderström . Together with Ultra , it is considered the most important literary magazine of Finnish-Swedish modernism , although it was discontinued after only four issues.

The initiator and co-editor of the magazine was Elmer Diktonius , the editor-in-chief was Cid Erik Tallqvist . Other authors who shaped the magazine were Gunnar Björling , Olof and Rabbe Enckell , Hagar Olsson and Henry Parland . Torger Enckell contributed illustrations.

The name of the magazine is derived from the Latin "Quos ego ..." ("I will ..."). With these words, Neptune calms the storm in Virgil's Aeneid .
