The Río Chocancharava , colloquially Río Cuarto like the city of the same name, Río Cuarto , is a river in Argentina .

The approximately 400 km long river has its source in the southern tip of the Sierras de Córdoba , the Comechingones , and runs along the south-central area of the province of Córdoba . To the northeast of the city of La Carlota is an extensive marshland called Bañado del Rio Saladillo into which the river joins from the southwest. The water of the Río Chocancharava flows from there as the Río Saladillo and flows into the Río Paraná .
