Rónald González (cyclist)
Rónald Javier González Escalante (born March 6, 1981 ) is a Venezuelan road cyclist.
Rónald González was the 2003 Venezuelan champion in the individual time trial of the U23 class. In the 2005 season he won two stages at the Vuelta al Táchira and he was successful on a section of the Vuelta al Estado Portugesa. The next year he won the second stage at the Clasico Aniversario Federacion Ciclista de Venezuela. At the Vuelta a Bramon, he won the second stage and was able to win the overall standings. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 González won stages at the Vuelta al Táchira and in 2009 the general classification.
