Rõngu (German: Ringen ) is a former rural community in the Estonian district of Tartu with an area of 164.1 km². It had 2898 inhabitants (January 1, 2009). It has been part of the rural community of Elva since 2017 .
Rõngu is located in the southwest of the county. In addition to the main town Rõngu (806 inhabitants), the rural municipality also included the villages Käärdi, Lapetukme, Valguta, Koruste, Teedla, Kirepi, Tammiste, Lossimäe, Tilga, Raigaste, Kalme, Kõduküla, Uderna, Rannaküla, Käo and Piigandi.
The ruins of Burg Ringen and the Michaeliskirche in Rõngu are worth seeing . It was built in 1413. Its current appearance comes from a renovation in 1901.
