Rønnebergbua is a historic warehouse in the Norwegian city of Ålesund .

It is located in central Ålesund on the island of Nørvøy at the address Notenesgata 9. To the southwest in front of the house, Skansegata and Korsegat meet Notenesgata. A little further to the northwest runs the Ålesundet , which separates Nørvøy from Aspøy .

The building was constructed in 1907 as part of the rebuilding of the city after the fire in Ålesund in 1904. Karl Norum worked as an architect for the client, Carl E. Rønneberg & Sønner. It was built as a massive construction from gray granite and clad with light marble from Eide in Nordmøre . It served as a storage house and stood directly on the water of the Ålesundet, so that transhipment was possible directly from ships. New land was later reclaimed in the area so that it is now about 30 meters from the water.

On the south side of the building is the inscription R & S and below it the year 1845 1907 . The R stands for Rønneberg, the S for Sønner ( German  sons ). The dates presumably refer to the renaming of the company from Rønneberg to Carl Esaias Rønneberg & Sønner (1845) and the year of construction (1907). However, it is speculated that the 1845 stands for the year in which trading in clipfish began .
