Rudiger Kauroff

Rüdiger Kauroff (born June 18, 1956 in Hanover ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2017 .

Life

Kauroff acquired the school high school and completed his training at the former German Federal Post . Until his election to the Lower Saxony state parliament in 2017, he worked in various functions at Deutsche Post . Kauroff has been a member of the Garbsen local fire department since 1967.

Rüdiger Kauroff joined the SPD in 2005. In 2008 he became chairman of the Garbsen local association, and since 2014 he has also been a member of the board of the SPD sub-district of Hanover.

He has been a member of the Garbsen City Council since 2006 and has been the 1st Deputy Mayor since 2011. In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2017 , he received a direct mandate in the Garbsen / Wedemark state electoral district .

In the Lower Saxony state parliament he is a permanent member of the Committee for Economics and Transport, the Petitions Committee and the Interior Committee. He is the fire brigade policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.
