Rüdiger Krause (clergyman)

Rüdiger Krause (born December 29, 1960 ) is a German clergyman of the New Apostolic Church and since December 5, 2010 District Apostle and at the same time Church President of the New Apostolic Church in North and East Germany . He is responsible for the New Apostolic congregations in Bremen, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greenland, Great Britain, Hamburg, Ireland, Iceland, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Norway, Schleswig-Holstein and Sweden.

Life

Rüdiger Krause comes from Hamburg and now lives in Norderstedt . He has been married to his wife Doris since 1982 and has two grown sons with her. On September 9, 2007, the couple received the blessing for the silver wedding in Hamburg-Eppendorf from Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber .

Until 2003 he worked for the Hamburg criminal police and volunteered at various levels of office and shortly after his ordination as bishop he moved to the full-time church service of the New Apostolic Church.

Offices and duties in the New Apostolic Church

Rüdiger Krause was appointed sub-deacon in 1982 . In 1990 he was a Christian priest and head of the Norderstedt community. In 1991 he was an evangelist for the Norderstedt congregation. From 1992 he was a district evangelist for the Hamburg-Mitte district and there from 1994 also a district elder after the regional reform. He was made a bishop in April 2002 and an apostle on July 10, 2005 . He took over the office of District Apostle for Northern Germany on December 10, 2010. This office was expanded so that from June 19, 2016, he was commissioned for Northern and Eastern Germany.
