R1 (cigarette brand)

R1 is a brand of cigarettes launched in 1984 by the tobacco company Reemtsma . As early as the 1970s there was a brand called Reemtsma No. 1, which in 1976 had the following values: 1 mg tar , 0.1 mg nicotine and 1 mg carbon monoxide and was touted as the success of Reemtsma tobacco research.

In Germany, it has a market share of 1.8%, making it eleventh among the most popular cigarettes.

Products

There are versions R1 Blue, R1 Red and R1 Slim Line Gold

  • R1 Blue contains 1 mg tar, 0.1 mg nicotine and 1 mg carbon monoxide
  • R1 Red contains 2 mg tar, 0.2 mg nicotine and 2 mg carbon monoxide
  • R1 Slim Line Gold contains 5 mg tar, 0.5 mg nicotine and 5 mg carbon monoxide

R1 Blue and R1 Red are among the lightest cigarette types on the German market.
