RCN Televisión ( Radio Cadena Nacional SA , formerly Radio Cadena Nacional de Televisión de Colombia ) is a Colombian private television broadcaster. He belongs to the Organización Ardila Lülle .
RCN started as a production company in 1967. In 1998 it became a network through the acquisition of one of the two licenses granted by the Colombian government. RCN reaches 97% of the Colombian population through 13 broadcasting stations. The main shareholder is Carlos Ardila Lülle . RCN Televisión produces Yo soy Betty , La Fea , both successful Colombian telenovelas .
RCN Televisión sees itself as a TV broadcaster that provides information and entertainment.
