RLP (* in Montréal ), actually Robert Levy-Provençal, is a Canadian DJ and producer who lives in France.
biography
At the end of the 1970s RLP started as a DJ in his native Canada and in 1983 he went to Paris, where he DJed in the big clubs of the French capital and had his own house music show on Radio 7 . In the 1990s he mainly worked as a label manager at Polygram . In the 2000s he was again active as a club and radio DJ and expanded his activities worldwide. He released his own 12 "records and remix CDs on his own label, RLPMix Records .
RLP had a bigger hit in 2011 with a dance version of the song RESPECT by Aretha Franklin , which he recorded with the singer Barbara Tucker . In Germany he got into the German single charts.
