Raúl Arellano Gallo

Raúl Arellano Gallo (born January 17, 1939 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a retired Mexican football player .

Life

Arellano Gallo was under contract with Cruz Azul between 1963 and 1969 . In his first season with the Cementeros , he won the second division championship of the 1963/64 season and made promotion to the first division . In his last season with the Cementeros he was part of the squad of the first championship team of Cruz Azul in 1968/69 .

At the 1964 Olympic football tournament , Arellano Gallo played the Mexicans' first two group games against Romania (1: 3) and Iran (1: 1).
