Raúl Iglesias (pianist)
Raúl Iglesias (born May 18, 1933 in Havana ; † September 24, 2004 there ) was a Cuban pianist and music teacher.
Iglesias studied at the Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán in Havana with Margot Rojas Mendoza and from 1962 to 1968 at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest. He has performed as a concert pianist with Cuban orchestras and as a piano accompanist with Cuban and foreign singers. From 1987 he was also a piano repetiteur at the chair for singing at the Instituto Superior de Arte y del Estudio Lírico in Havana.
