The Rabe Moden GmbH is a German clothing manufacturer with the brands Rabe , Thomas Rabe , Lucia and LeComte based in Hilter ( Niedersachsen ).

Company profile

Collection development, administration and goods control as well as dispatch are located at the company's headquarters in Hilter am Teutoburger Wald. Around 320 people are employed here and at two surrounding locations. Production and procurement take place in southern and eastern European countries as well as in the Far East.

The export share is 30% for Rabe and Thomas Rabe and 70% for Lucia. Export countries are the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, CIS , France, Spain, England, Ireland, Scandinavia, Asia, Canada and the USA. The total turnover in the 2014/15 financial year was over 100 million euros. At the end of 2012, Rabe had 249 shop-in-shops and 227 soft shops as well as 9 stores in Germany, including 7 partner stores and 2 own stores. The collection is also sold in an online shop .

history

Albert Rabe founded in 1920 as a knitwear factory for women's, men's and children's outerwear in St. Egidien / Saxony ; In 1955 the company moved to Bad Rothenfelde . In 1968 Rabe Strickmoden moved to Hilter and changed its name to "Rabe Moden". After the fall of the Wall , Rabe bought back the parent company in St. Egidien from the Treuhand in 1994 and continues to run it as a subsidiary. At the end of the 90s, Rabe started successfully with the shop-in-shop systems.
