Rachael Taylor (rower)
Rachael Taylor (born May 6, 1976 in Ballarat ) is a former Australian rower .
Her greatest achievement is winning the silver medal in rowing at the 2000 Summer Olympics . Together with Kate Slatter , she only had to admit defeat to the Romanian team with Georgeta Damian and Doina Ignat in a pair without a helmsman . Further successes were a second place in the eighth of the women at the rowing world championships in 2002 and a third place at the rowing world championships in 1999 in a pair without a helmsman. In 1997 and 1998 she took part in the finals at the World Rowing Championships .
