Rachel Empey

Rachel Empey (* 1976 in Truro , United Kingdom ) is a British manager . She has been the Chief Financial Officer at Fresenius since August 1, 2017 .

Life

From 1994 to 1997 Empey studied mathematics at the University of Oxford . She started her professional career between 1997 and 2000 as an auditor at Ernst & Young . From 2000 to 2002 she worked at Alcatel-Lucent , followed by Weir Strachan & Henshaw (2002-2003), O2 UK (2003-2007) and Telefónica 2004 to 2017, where she was a member of the Management Board of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG between 2011 and 2017 was.

She has been Deputy Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Fresenius Kabi AG since October 2017 and on the Supervisory Board of Fresenius Medical Care Management AG since September 2017.
