Wheeled vehicle
A wheeled vehicle is a land vehicle that moves on wheels in direct contact with the ground - in contrast to tracked vehicles and rail vehicles . In the military sector in particular, the term wheeled vehicle is used for motorized vehicles on wheels to differentiate between tracked vehicles and half- tracked vehicles .
The wheeled vehicle has been known since ancient times and is probably the oldest form of land vehicle after the skid vehicle or sled .
