Radim Kučera [ ˈradim ˈkutʃɛra ] (born March 1, 1974 in Valašské Meziříčí ) is a Czech football player .

Career

Kučera started playing football in 1980 at TJ Vigantice . Further stations were Dukla Hranice , VP Frýdek-Místek , Kaučuk Opava and Sigma Olmütz . Kucera has been playing for Arminia Bielefeld since 2005 , where his contract runs until 2009 and applies to both the first and second Bundesliga. In addition, East Westphalia has the option to extend it for another year.

He scored his first goal in the Bundesliga on matchday 9 of the 2006/2007 season in a 5-1 home win for Arminia against Alemannia Aachen . Only one home game later, he scored the important equalizer for the 2-2 final against Hertha BSC .

After five years with Arminia Bielefeld, he moved back to Sigma Olmütz in 2010, where he was also offered a job after his career as a footballer.

Kučera can be used as a defensive all-rounder in central defense, as a full-back, as well as in defensive midfield.

His fans at Arminia also call him the “carriage”.

Private life

Radim Kučera is married and has two children.
