Radio Bloemendaal

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Radio Bloemendaal is the name of a radio station operated by the parish priest on the medium wave frequency 1116 k Hz in the North Holland village of Bloemendaal . The 500 watt transmitter is used exclusively for the transmission of sermons.

The station is legal, but not part of the Netherlands' national radio system. Since the transmitter works in the medium wave range, reception outside the Netherlands is also possible in principle, but this is rarely possible due to interference from stronger transmitters.

From October 1, 2018, the programs that have been carried out since 1924 are no longer to be broadcast on medium wave . You will only be heard on the Internet.
