Radio Goldstar , also written Radio GoldStar, was a German radio broadcaster with a thematic focus on Schlager, which was operated by the operators of the television station Goldstar TV . The channel started broadcasting on September 3, 2001, but was discontinued after a year for economic reasons.

General information

In addition to the television activities of the operating company of GoldStar TV , a nationwide, free-to-air digital radio channel was launched on September 3, 2001. The program went on air as a hit channel under the name GoldStar Radio. The managing director of Radio GoldStar was Ralf Flörke. The catchment and supply area included Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The program content consisted of 70 percent German-language light music. The radio station was distributed in analog and digital form via cable and satellite, as well as as a live stream on the Internet.
