Radio Norge (formerly Kanal 24 ) is a private Norwegian radio station that started operating on January 1, 2004 as Kanal 24. The head office is in Fredrikstad with branches in Oslo, Kristiansand and Tromsø. Kanal 24 has foreign correspondents in New York, London, Paris, Berlin and Rio de Janeiro.
Radio Norge has been broadcasting exclusively in DAB since 2017 on the fourth nationwide FM network across the country. The first 3 belong to the public NRK with the programs P1, P2 and P3. The channel had some difficulties at the opening and was renamed from channel 4 to channel 24 because the similarity of the name to the private channel channel P4 was found to be too great. The number of regular listeners is constant and is around 300,000, which corresponds to around 5 percent market share. This puts the station well behind P4, which has a 23% market share and previously broadcast on the FM4 network. Due to the license agreement, Radio Norge has a wide range of programs, such as "Gråsonen" (rock), "Blåtimen" (blues), "Jazz fra Eplet" (jazz), "Ensomme rytter" (country) and "Gatemusikk" (rap) .
The radio has been owned by the Bauer Media Group since 2015 .
